THE BEST ANIME EVER

UNEDITED SAMPLE FEATURE ARTICLE
By Lavinia Lyka Lim Lopez
IV - Michael Faraday

Have you watched the anime Ginban Kaleidoscope written by Rei Kaibara and illustrated by Hiro Suzuhira? Well, if you have not, then you are missing a big part of your existence. This anime is by far the best ever produced.

The story focuses on Tazusa Sakurano, a 16-year old Japanese Olympic figure skating candidate, and Pete Pumps, a 16-year old Canadian aerobatic aviator. In the course of a qualifying round in Montreal, Canada, Tazusa falls in the middle of a Triple Lutz and loses consciousness. At the same moment, Pete kicks the bucket when his stunt plane crashes because of a mechanical problem while performing in midair. Unfortunately for the ten billion dollar beauty, Pete ends up involuntarily possessing her body for 100 days. Tazusa and Pete eventually falls in love with each other but was forced to separate because Pete has to go to heaven.

The story is romantic and at the same time hilarious.

I always look forward to watching this anime. I always scream secretly whenever I see Pete Pumps. He is so perfect! He is smart, kind, thoughtful, talented, and most of all, he is very handsome. He is the male version of Helen of Troy for me. His face can launch a thousand ships.

There are so many lessons you can get from this anime. It shows through the main character, Tazusa, that you can reach your dreams through hard work, perseverance, patience, and belief in one’s self. It shows that anything can be done with determination and diligence. It shows that everyone has immeasurable capabilities. It teaches everyone not to be afraid to show his true self.

Ginban Kaleidoscope is an inspirational anime. It instigates people to aim high and to work arduously towards their goals in life. It instigates us to be our self.
