IV - Isaac Newton
As I looked into the mirror, I saw a reflection of myself in a state of destitution. I saw a reflection of myself looking complete yet lacking something within. It is something that cannot be actually seen by the naked eye, something priceless that I do not have. Something worth gaining but I cannot gain easily. Something I should gain before gaining any other thing in this ephemeral world.
As I examined myself in the mirror, I saw myself lacking something very important. It is something a true man possesses. Something I should gain before looking at the mirror. Something I should have before learning to value the things around me. Something complicated yet very simple and uncompounded.
It is something I should gain before enjoying my stay in this world. It is something I should value above all things. Something I should have before learning to criticize others. Something I should have to face every obstacle in my life. Something I should have to face the fact that people often fail. It is something worth gaining in a sense that you’ll benefit a lot of things by just having it.
It is something you can only gain through experience and believing in yourself. It is the secret of success. It is the secret of standing up from every downfall. It is the secret of facing your obstacles. It is something you can only gain through looking at yourself in the mirror. It is something you can gain through looking at your own image and whole being. It is something that connects the opposing poles of your personality. Something that will help you to know who you really are from within.
It is something confined in our hearts from the very moment we had a glace in this world. It is something confined that needs development to flourish. It is this something that we should gain above all. It is confined in our hearts. It is confidence.
Confidence liberates us from the clutches of cowardliness. It makes a man a man. It gives us the brighter side of life. It makes us look into a different perspective wherein we are the captains of our souls. Confidence is what every one of us needs. Confidence is our elucidation to success.
Now, as I look into the mirror, I see myself complete. I see myself as someone who can stand up from every downfall. I see myself as a true man within. I see myself not afraid of any failures. I see my reflection with confidence and acceptance for myself. I see myself complete from within.
