LIFE'S PUZZLE

UNEDITED SAMPLE LITERARY ARTICLE
By Driesch Lucien Rabi Cortel
IV -Albert Einstein

Life is not as easy as it looks.

Life isn’t fair. It doesn’t always have a happy-ever-after ending. It isn’t always filled with bed of roses. It always had its own flaws. It is never perfect. And no matter what you do, every beginning you start will always have to end.

But have you ever tried to ponder what happens when something ends?

We never realize that when a door closes a window opens. We are not aware that when a chapter ends, a new page will start. We always feel blue when something ends but we don’t understand that every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end. We don’t seem to understand the picture of things, the bigger picture, wherein tomorrow should never be feared. Tomorrow should be filled with never-ending excitements and rapturous beginnings. No one should be gloomy about the sun having to set, instead, be happy because soon after the sun will set the moon and the stars will be glittering down to you.

People are always blinded by the things that they presently acquire. We are always scared to leave things behind, the things that we tightly hold on to. We are always terrified that the things we have today might be lost tomorrow. We don’t take in the chances that tomorrow could bring us, fear always traps in our own comfy world. We are always pulled back by our anxiety of the future. Most of us are scared to take chances and to let go of things they have. We are brainwashed in the belief that what you have today might be lost tomorrow. I simply believe that things are really meant for some things that if what you have did not last as long as what you have expected it only means that you are only meant to have that thing for only a short span of time.

Life never fails to amaze me. I see life as series of pros and cons like not wanting to end things yet no matter what you do it always has to put a period to things. It is like a huge magical jigsaw puzzle that can fit anything you want to place in it. Everything depends on you whether you want to stay that way or you want redo your life the other way around. But there is one thing we should always remember, life is always within our own choice but time is beyond our control.

See how the wonders of life work? It is simple yet picturesque. It isn’t fair; yet, you are given trillions of chances to do what you want. It doesn’t always have a happy ending; yet, you are given enough time to make a worth ending. It isn’t always filled with happiness; yet, you are given choices to feel happy or sad. It always had its flaws; yet, it contains wonders inexplicable by anything. It is never perfect; yet, you are able to witness the incredulity of things. And, yes, it will always end for you will never be able to see the stars flicker if your days won’t end, you will never be able to finish the story if the chapters won’t end, you will never be able to get a diploma if high school won’t end and no new beginning will start if nothing will end.

Life is not as easy as it looks; you just have to know the shortcuts.
